I’m gonna make a rather obvious statement. If you are near to the sound speakers, you will hear clearly; if you are far away you will hear softly; if you are out of range you won’t be able to hear. Is it simple?
Well, the same goes for our relationship with Christ. If we are near Him, we’ll be able to know His presence with us no matter what we are doing or what we may be going through. However if we are far from Him, even when He promised to be with us wherever we are and no matter what we were going through, even when He promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us, we’ll still think that He’s not with us and then we become discouraged and then we’ll start asking why we are going through some particular suffering or affliction or why does it have to be me?
Or else we'll be bored and restless and not much different from the world around us.
The Lord Jesus came to give us abundant life. In His presence is fullness of joy!
If you say that you believe in Jesus Christ, have you ever experienced living the abundant life? Or are you still “out of range”? Meaning that you have never truly believed in Him. Have you ever felt the reality of Christ in your life?
The Lord Jesus even though He was suffering on the cross for our sins, knew that the Father was with Him.
John 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave Me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Dare to be different.
Follow Christ.
Take up the cross.
Seek God. Jeremiah 29:11-14
