yesterday... nothing can separate us from the love of God

yesterday was another whole day out, went to depot walk after lunch till dinner time... played basketball and badminton with the youths, weihao brought an Indian friend, hope he comes again.

then went back to amk for Bible reading till 9.30pm, downstairs there was Bible camp meeting going on also; reached home at 11pm. had some stuff to do then slept at 2am.

yup and about yesterday's post about little courtney davis, one last thing

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

you see there really wasn't any reason for the Lord Jesus to suffer on the cross either.
Pilate said it well, "Why? What evil has He done? I find no fault in this Man"

Yet, the Pharisees and the crowd shouted, "Crucify Him! Crucify Him!"

and so Christ paid the penalty of our sin on the cross, willingly because only He could save us from our sins and because He loved the Father. (refer to my previous posts on "love and sacrifice")

yet we know God has raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in heaven.

truly nothing shall separate us from the love of God. but first you must "love Him and be called according to His purpose"...

just like now Courtney has high risk cancer that is difficult to treat, but the truth still remains that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Hallelujah
