the book of Revelation - the last book in the Bible
yesterday we were talking about where the Lord Jesus arose to:
in summary the Lord Jesus
arose to be betrayed by judas
arose to be deserted by His disciples
arose to pray to the Father in agony
arose to be delivered to the pharisees
arose to be falsely accused
arose to be mocked by the soldiers
arose to be beaten and whipped
arose to be smitten, spit upon and crowned with thorns
arose to be crucified on the cross
arose to be insulted by the crowd
and finally He died for the judgment of the sin of the world during the 3 hours of darkness
and why did He do all these? Pilate the judge said himself that "I find no fault in this Man"
nobody could convict Jesus of sin and so what was He doing on the cross?
the answer is in John 14:31
because He loves the Father and 'delights to do His will'
its only 1 word - OBEDIENCE
even if it meant sacrificing Himself and to be separated from the Father Whom He loved so much!
so that "whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
so that man and woman can have the power to stop sinning.
so that we can have true love, joy, peace and freedom.
Great love requires Great sacrifice and obedience!
But if you reject such a great salvation, nobody can save you anymore.
previously I said Jesus would come to judge the world soon and so it is.
He comes again to judge all those who would not believe in His offer of salvation and continue to reject Him.
even when all the signs of His coming again are occuring everyday.
earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, diseases, pestilences are being reported with increasing regularity...
Jesus is coming again
Believe in Him today
After all that He's done for you
God will fulfill His word
He will put everything right
