Eternity in our hearts

this is a reflection after reading the first chapter of the book Eternity Now.
i remember when i was very young, one time i went to the swimming pool, and i played with the fallen leaves on the swimming pool floor.
i would put them on the surface of the water and then they would sink to the floor again.
i remember thinking and feeling sad for the leaves as i left. because i was thinking about where they would go after i left, what would happen to them? would someone bring them home?
why was i feeling sad because i was leaving a bunch of dead leaves at the pool?

the point is, life also is full of gatherings and leavings. people come and go everyday but there does not seem to be a satisfactory conclusion to it. at a point in life, many people want to find their long lost friends... there is this eternal longing...

well, life was really sad for me.

but not anymore for me

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

no longer will there be eternal separation, now its eternal reunion

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent.

He satisfies your longings, as nothing else would do
