Hero?

whats your idea of a hero?
king arthur? hercules? or yue fei?

well, maybe it can be all of them or just anybody who "saves our day" or "makes our day"
and definitely a hero's got to be somebody great right? or someones who achieves great things.

can a hero be accused falsely and not stand up to it? or can a hero be betrayed by his friend? or deserted by his companions or denied by his disciple? can he be beaten up unjustly and spit upon and mocked?
can he be sentenced to death and judged and punished with public humiliation?
n when his enemies tell him to prove his powers can he suffer silently as if he had no power n was helpless against false accusers?

can such a person be called a hero?

not likely right?

but such is the power of God n the wisdom of God. Yes it is Jesus Christ who is The Hero.
the only One who could save the whole world from the eternal lake of fire. He is the Savior of the world.

yet He went through all cruel mockings and betrayal in powerless silence.
n He saved the world not in great power n glory but in silent agony.
He was "crucified in weakness".
He went through the suffering agonies of Gethsamane, the stunning silence of Gabbatha the judgment seat and the immense sorrows of Golgotha.
