We were children

so the world is now in uproar because of the many children who died in Qana, a small town in Lebanon supposedly used by Hezbollah to fire rockets into Israel. but what actually is the real story? can we really believe all that we hear?

one thing's for sure, both sides are wrong for using arms against each other.

then just consider the children, for sure they are innocent in this incident. they also may have been used as pawns by Hezbollah to fight against Israel.

but consider another perspective, could these children one day grow up to be terrorists?
i mean those people in Hezbollah were once children also right? innocent children. but now, they knowingly kill other people and children.

the point is, how are your children being brought up? will they one day be people of integrity and strong moral character, or criminals and murderers?

remember some children in Japan who kill other students who do better than them, others who kill and torture their neighbors' toddlers...

evil people don't just become cruel overnight, many of them grow their habits from young.
so the next time you see a cute little kid on the street, remember that there is a potential in them to do much good, as well as much evil. it all depends on how they are brought up.

how are the children you know being brought up today?

then consider again the little Child of Bethlehem, whom we sing of in Christmas songs.
this little Child one day grew up to die on the cross for you and me.
Jesus loves you and so He died for you.
oh there was no other Child as obedient as He,
and we remember the words of the thief on another cross, "This Man hath done nothing amiss"
He was definitely innocent and yet He died for us who are guilty.
Praise God. Hallelujah
