what's with this world?

friendship is greater than boy girl relationships
if you have not met your friends for a long time, you would want to have reunions and you will be very glad to see them after a long while, basically it will still be strong after a long while of separation

but try doing that to your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend, furthermore, long distance relationships usually don't last long

friendship is also greater than family relationships because we tend to take family for granted and even if they are gone for a long time we do not miss them as much, of course this is not always the case. but that's what I want to point out.

Isaiah 49:15
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of [my] hands; thy walls [are] continually before me.

there are some parents who can forget their children but God will never forget

a lot of things are valued only because many people value it, if some food stall is good many people queue up to buy and eat, but that does not mean that other stalls are not nice.
it all depends on your perspective

the same goes with relationships.

but one thing's for certain, there is absolutely no one who would die for their enemies right?

the more Jesus Christ is hated and despised and mocked
the more His love shines brightly
although nothing can change Him and His love
His Person and His love is not affected by man's opinions and valuation

there's one peculiar thing about Christians, they've never seen their Lord Jesus Christ, never hugged Him, never kissed Him but their love for Him is very strong
they gather every week to remember Him
they spend money to do good works in His name
they give up their jobs and go to foreign countries to spread His name and fame
some of them even burned to death, got beaten up, stoned, got tortured, got imprisoned

and they never even saw Him before!!
delusional?
nothing better to do?
too rich or too much time on their hands?
and the craziest thing is Jesus actually said that if you believe in Him
be prepared to be hated by this world
be prepared to be killed
be prepared to suffer affliction and shame

we also spend life rushing through many things-finishing our homework, constantly finding new things to play, working to earn more money, organizing birthday parties and events, planning romantic dates and memorable weddings, our children's future, our retirement...
we also plan for great election campaigns and terrorist attacks, security plans...

but we fail to plan for the one thing that will greet every single person in this world, whether good or bad, rich or poor

DEATH

how can anyone claim to be wise if he/she did not plan what was going to happen after they die?
any other achievement will be rendered totally useless and insignificant after they die, and especially if they die suddenly due to accidents, illness and murders.
