Faith in action

What does it mean to walk in faith?

Faith is a key concept and doctrine (teaching) in any religion and especially so in Christianity and our relationship with Jesus Christ, because we cannot see Him, but He has promised to be with us and because He lives, we shall live as well.

His followers (disciples) are to eat of His flesh and drink of His blood and love one another (wash one another's feet)

His clear and short call to all his disciples is to "Come, Follow Me" and I will make you fishers of men.

so how do we really do that in faith? how do you follow an invisible Person??
We certainly do not want to invest and spend our time in things that do not profit, that promise an lasting result or fruit but in the end disappoint us...

Let me give 3 examples of faith from God's records to demonstrate how people lived in faith.

from the New Testament (NT)

after the Lord Jesus was buried in the garden tomb, some women came with spices to embalm His body. Luke 23:55 they had seen the location of the tomb when Joseph of Arimathea buried the Lord and they had rested according to the Sabbath Luke 23:56, so they came after the Sabbath was over, early in the morning.

soo in Mark's gospel
16 When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb.3 And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?”

maybe they forgot, but maybe they had gone in faith, because they saw Christ buried and the stone rolled across the tomb. They're intentions were clear and their purpose was pure, to anoint the body of Jesus. And their obstacle was removed before they could even think of a solution.
