warnings...

...from the Bible

learnt at prayer meeting tonight that someone called AT Scofield compiled the no of times warnings against something is given

the most warnings are given against unbelief
the 2nd most are against sexual sins in thought, word, deed
the 3rd most are against heresies and divisions - false teachings (primarily about God) and whatever divides Christians

there's really no where to escape from the judgment of God except in the cross

because if everyone is really honest with ourselves, the best deeds that we do, we do with some ulterior motives, the most common being pride

and the greater the deed that we do, the more pride we have, however much we try to deny or hide or mask the pride

we are all hypocrites and naked before the Lord's eyes Hebrews 4:12

believe in Jesus today!
