God is. He never changes.
The bottom line is "Don't do anything in secret what you won't do in front of God"
Human authorities are God appointed. Disobeying the human authority for no good reason is the same as disobeying God.
Its storming now. Many times we see and hear of natural disasters and people ask "if there's a God how can there be such suffering and sorrows" Thats like Elijah seeing the earthquake and fire and typhoon. Destructive forces. But God was not in them. God expressed Himself in a still small voice.
And the matter is not so much why there is suffering but why we exist in the first place, and how have we lived over these years? Who gives the rain and sun, so that crops can grow? Who teaches mankind how to grow vegetables and eat.
The fact is that we deserved death once Adam and Eve took of the forbidden fruit and we know it. It is only through the mercies of God that we are not consumed immediately. God sustains the universe everyday and have we been grateful for this? NO!
And then see the Lord Jesus alone in the garden, alone in front of Pilate and alone on the cross.
Jesus is the answer for the world today. Above HIM there's no other. Jesus is the Way.
If you have a question in the corner of your mind, traces of discouragement and peace you cannot find. Reflections of your past seem to face you everyday.
But this one thing I know, Jesus is the Way.
With Jesus we can face any disaster that comes.
