Who did more good than Him? Preaching God's word, healing the sick, casting out demons, feeding the multitudes...
Who suffered more than Him? Rejected by His own family, mocked by His own people, disappointed by His disciples, misunderstood by the people He came to save, wrongly accused, crucified on the cross, having our sins laid on Him, dying for our sins...
And yet, you would never have met a more Perfect Person. No man spoke like this Man, no one did more good than Him, no one was so determined to do His Father's will, even if it meant His humiliation and death.
And He's coming again to rule as the Perfect Sovereign and Lord. Perfect justice and love. Joy and Peace will be on the whole earth.
For all the good He had done,
they crucified Him on the cross,
they hated Him without a cause.
And now He calls us to follow Him.
Have we really counted the cost?
