Christ Jesus died at the cross of Calvary, on Golgotha's hill, outside Jerusalem
a) He willingly gave up His Spirit at the end of the day (usually people hanging on the cross can last for a few days, thats why they had to break the legs of the other 2 criminals by His side, so that they could no longer struggle to keep themselves up to breathe)
b) He did not die from the torture and the suffering on the cross (whipping and flogging, nails in His hands and feet, thorns on His forehead, thirst and hunger and bleeding for more than 6 hours in the Middle Eastern sun)
c) He paid for all our sins before that (giving up His Spirit on the cross)
and on the 3rd day He arose
His tomb is empty now (and has been all these years)
you can't find any trace of His human body on earth now
so that proves
death has been conquered - no longer do you need to fear or dread it
and His death has secured/guaranteed/confirmed this
the judgment and condemnation of sin has been paid for - thats why we can be forgiven and we can have new life in Christ (before He gave up His Spirit, He cried triumphantly ""It is Finished!")
and He also offers eternal life to those who want to follow Him now
we have to admit our sinfulness,
acknowledge all our weakness and failure to do right,
that we are totally incapable of saving ourself or buying ourself out of the debt we owe
that we are doomed to hell even after we die, no matter what good works we have done, they are not enough to pay for our sin and its consequences
and we can just believe in Jesus, because He has already removed our sin, paid for its penalty and consequences, and restored us back to a living and complete relationship with God
if only we are willing
if only we want to make peace
if only we want to love perfectly, once again
what else do you wanna hear?
what better news can you get?
what better blessing can you wish for?
Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and He's coming back, very soon
are you prepared to meet your God?
have you accepted His only Son?
