Part 1 - People whom Jesus met individually as recorded by John in the gospel of Jesus Christ

(A)
Nicodemus - a member of the Jewish religious council
A person of high standing and influence in society, he would have much religious knowledge, and also of the law
He came to Jesus of his own will but came late at night
He started by saying that no one else could do the miracles which Jesus had done but instead learned about second birth, eternal life and heavenly things from Jesus

(B)
The woman of Samaria - she had been living with 5 men before, and the current one she was living with was not her husband
A person with many problems and sins, most probably a social outcast, she went to draw water when no one else would be there
Jesus came specially to seek her, they met at the well at noontime and Jesus started off by giving her the offer of living water, she later came to realize that Jesus is a prophet and then started to ask about worship, which is why we know that true worship that the Father seeks is in Spirit and in truth

(C)
The man lying paralyzed in Jerusalem for 38 years - he was probably someone useless to society, with no one to even help put him in the pool which he was staying just beside
Out of all the people with problems there, Jesus only asked him "Do you want to be healed?"
Jesus asked him to take up his bed and walk, and he did!
